BlackBerry Q10 - The Boldest BlackBerry Yet?

There isn't another first-class phone like this. The BlackBerry Q10 will almost surely be the best QWERTY keyboarded smartphone of its kind when it hits the market - if it hits the market soon, and there's the danger. To some reviewers, it was quite as impressive as their flagship model, the Z10 itself.

The BlackBerry Q10 feels and almost looks just like a BlackBerry Bold. That, by the way is a good thing. Hold it right next to a Bold however, and you see that it's a little taller and wider, with a much larger 3.1-inch, 720-by-720 screen. This isn't exactly a one-handed device - you're going to type with two hands, so you most likely won't have to reach all the way across the keyboard with just one.

The Q10 runs on BlackBerry 10, their latest OS, of course. Its square screen looks and works like the Z10's 1280-by-768 screen had its base area trimmed. You will still see four Active Frames, but they are slightly smaller; squares now, not rectangles anymore. On the application windows, you get three rows of apps instead of four (screen is relatively smaller, obviously). You can view lesser emails in the Hub, too. This all evens out in scenarios where you're typing, understandably, because in that case, the soft keyboard takes up most of the Z10's 4.2-inch screen.

All the BlackBerry 10 gestures and features seem intact, unchanged and working admirably well on the Q10. Definitely BlackBerry has taken a fantastic leap in the direction of evolution and this phone is eagerly awaited by the masses.
